Monday to Friday nights 3:00pm to 8:00pm you can book private, semiprivate lessons.

$350 per hour for semi-private lessons (2 or 3 players)

$550 per hour for private lessons with coach Dwayne

(Coach Dwayne currently has lessons booked from 4:30pm to 6:30pm on Wednesday, 5:00pm to 6:00pm on Thursday, and 5:30pm to 6:30pm on Fridays, and scattered private lessons on Sunday.)

Sunday Group lessons

Novice 11:00am to 12:00pm $150 per player for an hour lesson

ATMS 12:00pm to 1:00pm $150 per player for an hour lesson

SQA, SQAA 1:00pm to 2:00pm $150 per player for an hour lesson

PW/BNTM 2:00pm to 3:00pm $150 per player for an hour lesson

 

We also have:

 

Skating stride improvement class                               45 minutes                   $150 per lesson           maximum 8 people per lesson

Learn the proper hockey stance, and work on your balance, stride, and weight transfer through a series of off-ice training drills.

 

Shooting improvement class                                       45 minutes                   $150 per lesson           maximum 6 people per lesson

Learn how to get more power and accuracy in your shot.  We will teach you how to raise the puck, how to maintain your balance while shooting, how to use your legs to add power to your shot, and how to take a variety of shots (wrist shot, slap shot, backhand, flip shot, snapshot, and the shovel shot).  We have 3 shooting nets to work on and  you will be guided by our experienced coaches.

 

Stick handling & passing class                                    45 minutes                   $150 per lesson           maximum 8 people per lesson

Learn how to get 'soft hands'.  We will teach you how to keep control of the puck, stickhandle all around your body, pull the puck, and rotate your wrists for better puck control during passes and stick handling.  This practice will help you to get to the level where you can stickhandle and pass without watching the puck.  This will make it easier for you to keep your head up and become a 'thinking' hockey player rather than someone who simply chases a puck and whacks at it when it comes near.

 

Private lessons with Dwayne or Anthony                  45 minutes/$400          1 hour/$550

Semi-private lessons with Dwayne or Anthony         45 minutes/$300          1 hour/$400

Coach Anthony Devolz has played professional hockey in the Czech Republic and he has been teaching hockey at Mega Ice for some time now.  He's an excellent stick handler, and players can learn a lot from him.  He is also an extremely friendly coach.

Coach Dwayne Ripley played in the WHL (CHL) major junior league in Canada, and has been coached by numerous NHL coaches as well as an Olympic level strentgh and conditioning coach and a team sport psychologist (team Canada).

 

Team Year End Parties (games, Pizza & drinks)        1.5 hours $150 per player        2.5hours $200 per player            minimum 8 players

Birthday Parties (games, Pizza & drinks, equip)        2 hours  $200 per player                                                          minimum 6 people

We will prepare games for the kids to play and provide instruction as well.  We have NHL hockey games online to watch, and we have a large TV and projector and sound system all hooked up to the internet.  Players can practice their skills, take part in shooting accuracy and stickhandling accuracy contests, and watch their favourite internet clips of great goals, or watch current NHL games.
